Home Energy Audit
A home energy audit normally ranges from $600 up, depending upon the size and age (historic) of your home.  But by far the best option available until April 2011 will be the $100 Audit and $500 Thermal Rebate Programs available through Efficiency Kansas. You pay only $100 for your audit, and Efficiency Kansas pays your auditor the remainder of the cost. When you complete the improvements as outlined in the audit, Efficiency Kansas will also pay for the return inspection to assure that the improvements resulted in the efficiency predicted.

For the time, until April 2011 Airtight Energy Audits is only offering the Efficiency Kansas $100 Audit. The Efficency Kansas audit is the most comprehensive audit out there, the cost to you is being supplemented by our state, and there is no other package that comes near the value for our customers.

Comprehensive Historic Home Energy Audit
The next step up is a comprehensive historic home audit, where we spend one full day at your home, and another full day creating an energy conservation plan. The Plan will record the features of the house, both photos and videos that correspond to improvement specifications. Also included is a longterm operation manual (100+ pages) for the house, outlining how it should function to preserve its historic integrity with modern day appliances. Prices can range between $1000 and $3000. A bid will be submitted after an initial consultation.
